making soap (coffee soap bars)

The one advantage of COVID is that I have some extra free time on my hands to pick up a new hobby. In addition to learning to sail this summer, I am now learning to make my own soap! For now, I am using melt and pour method but I cannot wait to get my hands on mixing my own oils and lye!

The ones below are coffee soap bars that I made last night. Here is the list of all ingredients:

Shea butter soap base

Ground coffee

Green colorant

Vanilla extract (for scent)

Sage oil (for scent)

Coffee beans (for decoration)

Taco seasoning (for decoration)

Bath salt (for decoration)
