Looking back at 2007 ... (Fall)

In September we took a trip to Seattle, WA and Vancouver, BC. We spent several days in Seattle, visiting Melissa and Juan. Three of those days Melissa, Shana, Derrick and I spent hiking and camping in Olympic National Park, which I must say was a pretty cool park and I do hope to go back there some day again.

Then we headed to Vancouver to visit Akiko. Even though she had to work every day we got to spend some time with her in the evenings. The trip was nice and laid back- we did lots of sightseeing, visited UBC Museum of Anthropology, did hot yoga, biked, beer tasting, took a trip to Squamish, ate at Chinese dumpling place (yumm!), etc. We were very lucky as one of Akiko’s friend, Ben, was out of town that week and kindly offered us his apartment. Ben, if you ever read this, thank you so much once again and we do hope you come to visit us in Columbus soon!
